Several books have been written on different issues by Gambians. Some of these books are on history (Dr Florence Mahoney, Patience Godwin-Sonko, Dawda Fall, Hassum Ceesay Jr and Bakary Sidibeh but to name a few). Other topics are on linguistics, politics, sociology, psychology, anthropology, education and other divers issues.

This column intends to give credit to these people as well as immortalize them.
